Car seat placement question

Hey guys,

I’m currently 32+3 and I have the graco modes set that had come with the car seat (gifted to us by my husbands family). This is what it looks like.

Ny question is, is there any way to place this in the center of my back seat? I have a Honda HR-V, but in the manual it seems that I can only do the two sides. Not the center seat. I’m not sure if I wasn’t understanding the car manual, or if I’m just still learning the car as it’s brand new. I would feel much more comfortable with having my baby in the center of the seat, rather than one of the side seats. Is it a problem if he has to sit in the side seat? I need advice and help lol thanks!
