Induction tips?

I am being induced in 4 days on the 24th due to gestational hypertension that they are worried could turn into preeclampsia. This is my first pregnancy, and I’m really nervous. Does anyone have any tips for me to get through the induction? I’ve heard it’s a lot worse than going into labor naturally.

My induction went well (was overdue) they started with pitocin but nothing really got started till they broke my water. Then things really picked up. It was my first so I have nothing to compare it to, but pitocin contractions suck. I got the epidural about an hour after they broke my water. Then things went smoothly and progressed nicely. 
Bring something to do incase it takes a while. And my hospital let me drink/eat anything that was a clear liquid (Gatorade, water, jello, etc). So my SO and I brought a few bottles of Gatorade to drink while we were there, and a book to read (I think I read the first page and that's it lol) 
I went in at 8:30am. Pitocin started at 10:15am. Water broken at 6:30pm, epidural at 7:30pm, and baby was born at 3:43am.

My induction wasn't bad. They started with Cervidil to loosen the cervix and then to Pitocin. It was pretty long and boring. I got the epidural early so it never got really painful until the last hour. 45 minutes of that was pushing. I agree to bring a book or something to keep you occupied. There was only a short window where I was able to eat so I would definitely get something in your belly before you go.
