1st day of my period positive test

My period was supposed to start today and it didn't. My sister in law just got a positive test 3 days ago and told me to take one just to see and it was positive! I went to CVS and bought a first response digital to confirm and it was negative 🤔 Are the cheap Wal-Mart tests more sensitive, or would you say that was a false positive?
