High blood pressure!
Hi everyone
I was diagnosed with hypertension in 2015 at the age of 24. I do have a family history, however I am not or have ever been overweight or had any health issues in the past. Apparently the high blood pressure caused some issues with my kidney function and was made aware of that last year. Ultrasounds done and no physical ailments with kidneys but blood tests showed impaired function.
I am now 10 weeks and due in April 2020. Because of the above I have been going to the doctor every week since week 7 and I get an ultrasound each time. Baby growing at a normal rate but doctor is very concerned that I may develop preeclampsia super early in the pregnancy.
I don’t know anyone who has had to deal with these issues during pregnancy so I just wanna see if anyone has been in a similar boat as me and how things have turned out for you. I have not been told by the doctor that I am not safe to continue the pregnancy but with issues like these I want to prepare myself for anything!
Praying for a healthy baby and my health as well!
