Bleeding with no cause?

Question

So frustrated! I am 22 weeks and keep spotting and some days out right bleeding and they can't find a cause!
I mean thank God everything with me and baby girl is looking healthy but it's really scary!
I just bleed and bleed on and off like a light switch.
Anyone else have this?

W my 1st son I bleed my whole 1st tri. The blood was not red but brown (old blood)  Docs called it a threatening miscarriage but after 15 weeks it cleared and 2&3 tri it was normal had him at 39+6. W/ my 2nd son I had bleeding the beginning of 2nd tri and this time I had shortening of the cervix w funneling I ended having him at 24+4 weeks. The day I had him I had some bleeding w heavy discharge so really talk to ur doctors bout all ur aches and pains and push to have ultrasounds to check what's  going on. Good luck!

I've experienced this my whole pregnancy this time around - I was diagnosed with a Subchorionic Hematoma

Have you had a vaginal ultrasound? That's typically the only way to tell if a placenta is near the cervix or not with any reliability. Good luck!!!

I had the same thing my whole pregnancy. I've had too many ultrasounds to even keep track and they could never find the cause. Finally, I went in at 23w 3d and the dr wanted to check the length of my cervix. He spotted my placenta covering the cervix but just enough to cover the width of the cervix. He called it partial/marginal placenta previa. I have no idea why the US techs never caught it but we now have a reason.
