I’m so confused how I’m meant to take my son off of formula? he has a bottle at night and when he first wakes up.. how can I slowly stop or stop completely? What do I give in replacement just normal food or cows milk?

Can we just keep giving formula instead of cow milk??? I feel like it’s more complicated. My boy is lactose intolerant so we give him similac sensitive, now we have to give him lactose free milk ... isn’t formula mostly milk anyway, why do we have to switch?

They do have toddler formula. I thumb similacs is go and grow! Honestly though I’d save yourself the money and just go with milk. Start mixing in into the formula little by little! Like 2oz of milk, 4oz of formula for a few days, then 3 and 3, and and so on! You could always try almond or coconut milk!

We started by adding the milk in slowly to his bottles. Now he’s off of breastmilk completely. He will take about 6-7 oz of milk at bedtime and the rest comes from eating with meals during the day.

Whole milk yes. 
They still need to have around 16-20 ounces of dairy a day. But that doesn’t all have to be coming from whole milk
