19 years later!

Hello all!

I am 37 and he is 35. We were each other’s first love. But alas, as teenagers we decided to “take a break” and things happened so it was a very long “break.” Well, we finally made it back to each other last year after keeping in contact throughout the years. We decided to start trying about half a year ago and after several cycles I thought we were too old and we missed our chance with all of these years passed. This past cycle, the night I conceived, we even took one of those over the counter sperm check tests, which we were both surprised came out positive (I have children from another relationship and he doesn’t)!!

Come 10dpo I saw the faintest of faintest lines but he didn’t believe me and kinda poked fun at it. I turned up the contrast and then he could see it, but it was still so faint so I didn’t want to get my hopes up either. I had thought I had seen lines all the months prior and my period came so 🤷🏻‍♀️.

11dpo I took another test with fmu and didn’t see anything (the 10dpo was at night) and later that evening has horrible cramps so I figured out again.

12dpo I took the last frer and turned it over while we talked. He turned it over after the time and said “well there’s definitely a line and it’s darker than last time.” I gave him a playful slap on the arm and said to stop lying as I thought he was messing with me. Then he showed me and I gasped!

The last test is at 16dpo and is pretty obviously a bfp!!

I just can’t believe this. My best friend, the first person I told about my other pregnancies, and now he was the first to know for sure about ours 💙😊 19 years after we first discussed having a baby someday💙
