Spotting post miscarriage-period? Pregnant?

So I had a d&c on 9/16. Fetal development had stopped at 9 weeks.

I've had 2 other miscarriages (one natural, one misoprostol+d&c) and with both of them I got my period on the dot at 4 weeks post miscarriage I spotted a couple days before (like in that third week post miscarriage) and then it started....

I've had EXTREMELY light spotting for 2 weeks and no period.

We had sex after my 2 week recover no protection but pull out (I know, not smart... it was the heat of the moment). My husband and I still want kids but were supposed to wait until after my next period to try again because theres a small change of miscarriage so close to a d&c (not so with a natural miscarriage)...

I'm thinking I'm going to have to get a pregnancy test but I'm close enough that I could possibly still get a light positive no matter what? (6 weeks post d&c) I think no matter the answer I may call my doc if my period doesnt start by next sunday?

I dont know why I'm posting other than emotional support? I wouldn't want to have done anything that might increase my chance of miscarriage in my next pregnancy.
