I told my husband how I read an article about kids who have 5 books a day read to them go into kindergarten knowing 1 million more words than children who’s parents didn’t read to them.

He’s made a point to read to our son every single night before bed. It doesn’t matter if he’s just getting in the door from working 13 hours, he’s right up into his room and reading him his books.

We’ve been reading to him since he was born but it melts my heart the same every night ❤️
