Is it weird that I don’t like middle names?

I don’t like middle names for my kids. I have a son, just first name and now that I am pregnant,  planning to first naming only. I see lots of post of other pregnant girls asking for help to chose middle names. Am I weird?

Someone in my family doesn’t have one and it’s actually made it difficult for travel. Apparently someone has the same first/last name combo that isn’t allowed to fly. Haha

I like them because or last name is common so pretty sure there’d be other people with the name no matter how unique! 
My gramma and two great uncles don’t have one and my Grampa has an initial lol

I am not middle naming because I never use mine, I think it’s useless. I understand if you want to give a middle name to honor someone in your family, but I don’t understand why people give random middle names 🤷‍♀️

I don’t like middle names, my kids don’t have middle names or my husband. Growing up I had two middle names and two last names basically to sign my name I needed two lines it was ridiculous. When I was married I removed all and only left one and my new last name. I personally think they’re useless and more of a hassle. I will say for a girl seems a little more ok since some names really go well together but honestly sometimes it just sounds like the parents couldn’t decide and stuck a bunch of random names together 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I think it’s personal preference and cultural. 
Personally love middle names. Plus that how they know moms about to snap when I yell the entire name 🤣🤣🤣

2 of my kids I couldn't decide on 1 name so they got 2 middle names lol I almost didn't give my 1yr old a middle name

My husband and my mum dont have middle names. Not decided on whether or not to give the baby one.
