Fussy with bottles for the last 8 months, fights me with everything 😩 help 😩
My 8 month old, nearly 9 month old 😱 has always been incredibly fussy when it comes to his bottles. When he was a newborn he’d cry and cry during his bottles and we had to give him infacol which seemed to help for a bit but then he reverted back to crying. Then he struggled with reflux so we were given gaviscon and ranitidine but neither helped. After a while he stopped having reflux and stopped crying during his bottles but was still fussy and would take a lot of breaks and push them out of his mouth. He takes up to 2 hours to finish a bottle and he has one every 3 hours so I feel like I spend all day trying to get him to drink them. When he was small he had a floppy larynx which could make them struggle to breathe while drinking but doctors didn’t seem to care, just said ‘might be why, might not’ 🤷🏼♀️🙄. He’s seen so many doctors about it and I stopped when he was 6 months because no-one was helping. A few weeks ago he started downing his bottles in about half an hour and was so good with them! But it only lasted about a week and he’s gone back to fussing and refusing. Everything is a battle with him at the moment and it’s really getting to me. Nappy changes are a nightmare, giving him food usually ends in him crying for no real reason, he fights naps, sometimes fights getting in his car seat. He’s usually a really happy baby until you want to do something 😩 can anyone help?😩
