You ever thought having Girlfriends is just too much WORK?

I am kind of a loner.  Sometimes I think maybe I should make more female friends.   Then I see them interacting with each other.  Gossiping, backstabbing, etc.  I then think it's too much WORK to keep Girlfriends.   Like the littlest things become big drama issues.   
You gotta call them 24/7 or they get mad at you.  It's just too much damn work.  Anybody think like this?

You’re talking to the wrong girls then. I’m 32, and there’s a group of now 7 (we lost my sister recently) who have been a tight knit group for over a decade now. I met some of them when I was 11. I don’t know what I would do without them. We’ve all been through a lot together growing up.

Yeah I understand this. I'm not intrested in calling and texting, or even just responding on a regular basis. That makes most woman angry. Only one of my girlfriends understand this, and we occasionally don't even talk for 6 months, plus. But because she doesn't demand that attention from me, we've been friends for 20 years! I consider her my best friend! It just takes finding the right gal!

It totally depends on the people! 
For me, there’s a group of about 6 of us that have been friends for years and we’ve never had any issues like that....
