Having kids

Hi all,

Ok so might be an odd question but have any of you or know of anyone giving second thoughts about having kids because of climate change?

My husband and I are in our late 20s, early 30s and have always talked about having kids one day. Well we are starting to look into making that happen and the other day we had a very deep conversation about what our world will look like in 20-30 years if nothing is seriously done at addressing climate change.

I still can’t believe we even had this conversation, something I never thought to consider and it almost feels silly to think about but sadly, there are real implications about the quality of life this and next generation will face.

Edit: I should add that we have always considered adopting even before this conversation and have planned on doing so with or without a biological kid.
