I didn't know I was going to be taking it that day (it was sprung on me at the appointment) and ate like crap (TONS of carbs and sugar) right before my appointment. It's not how I usually eat either 😭 It would be super inconvenient - near impossible (with work) to arrange my schedule to do the 3 hour test, though I obviously will figure it out if I have to!
But would it be inappropriate to ask my doctor if I can redo the 1 hour test?

I failed the 1 hour too and now I have to do the 3 hour. As inconvenient as it is to have to take another half day off, I just have to suck it up and do it, and I would rather know if I have GDD so I can try to control it. It’s just annoying because I already have 6 other appointments in the next 10 days between cardiology, MFM and OB, all of which I need to take anywhere from 1-3 hours off work for, and drive 45 minutes-an hour to get to. So now adding In the 3 hour makes it 7 appointments. Feeling like a failure of a pregnant woman at the moment with all these appointments and specialists, and just need a pity party for 1 for a bit.

I don’t see why not but in the long run you may end up doing the one hour and still have to redo the 3 hour and spend more time overall
I did the 3 hour and passed but baby is a bit big so I’ve had to do self monitoring pricking my finger 4 times a day for a week.... had a few high readings so have to do it again for a week....
It’s a right carry on I could do without but end of the day I’d rather know if I did have gestational diabetes so I can adapt for what’s best for baby if I have to.
