Lol this just happened to me 😭😂 a 7 year old asked “are you a girl?” I feel a little salty about it. I didn’t think I looked manly but I guess I do a little 😟

Absolutely not. They are a child, therefore they are not fully conscious of the world around them and societal norms and rules. Not all children are aware of gender types, so it’s completely normal for them to question something. They are naturally curious and unable to dictate what is appropriate and inappropriate. They lack understanding on many things because they aren’t conscious of those things and haven’t been taught what an adult has been taught or been around. 
 Don’t let little things like a child’s curiosity upset you.

I would be confused and interested in why they asked.
Lol maybe id tell em im nonbinary! But I don't ever talk about it, so I probably wouldn't get into it, especially not with a kid. They'd just be confused. 
Nobody has ever mistaken me for a dude, it might be a proud moment for me... but I have had an odd relationship with gender.
Just because a kid asks doesn't mean you look like a man, I think kids have limited and differing concepts of what it means to be male or female. Like your hair length could confuse them if they've never seen a gal with short hair or a guy with long hair.

Children will ask the weirdest things sometimes, I just laugh it off. You have to at that age, they can't help their mouths most times lol. My kid will spit some things out and I'm like really lol.
