Hey girlies!

I was wondering if there are any doctors/medics on here that could give me some advice.

I have had swollen tonsils (they look like this) for a few years now. Occasionally, they become extremely swollen and agitated if something irritates them (food, drink, sometimes oral🙄). They give me bad breath sometimes (gives me bad anxiety), when I lay on my back to go to sleep they block my airway because they’re so big - they touch my uvula 😬

I’ve been to the doctors plenty of times and they just keep sending me away and giving me antibiotics — to my surprise DONT work! They refuse to remove them for me (I’m in the UK so up to the NHS).

Is there anything I can do other than antibiotics or “home remedies” 😭 I’m so annoyed now..
