Odd but need tips, about swallowing...

Okay so I've been with my man for four years. Personally I dont swallow. It makes me gag something fierce 😂. Even after swallowing, that sticky slimyness seeping down my throat is to much, cant do it. I told my dude this and he dont care, or at least he doesn't show/say problems with it. Maybe a glass of water next to the bed might help? You can take a drink after? Honestly I feel like it helps if you have a lot of saliva in your mouth, for me when I have a lot of spit in my mouth I can't taste the cum or feel the texture as much
