Lactating early?

Tomorrow I will be 23 weeks, yesterday my breasts started leaking a lot. I had had a small amount leak before but this was enough to be very noticeable and probably fill a thimble. Isn’t it too early for me to be leaking? I’m a first time mom and just a little confused

It’s your colostrum coming in, sometimes it leaks out sometimes it doesn’t. It can be normal, if you’re leaking a lot and concerned ask your dr. I’d wear nipple pads too if you’re leaking that much.

With my daughter (ftm) I started leaking at 16 weeks! I was shocked lol

Normal lovely for the 3rd trimester. Just invest in some breast pads and wear those xxx

Very normal. Do not pump or hand express. If it’s leaning, you can catch it in something and save it.

It’s your colostrum! Totally normal to leak and totally normal to not leak. I started leaking at 22 weeks and it’s been pretty much nonstop since! 😂
