Rude or not rude??

Is it rude for somebody to tell u that u are big for 6 months and it’s not the first time this person has said this throughout my pregnancy😡 maybe I’m just being hormonal but I didn’t like being told that 😭😭 this is my boyfriends grandma that told me this she said I’m big for 6 months just bc she said she didn’t start showing til she was about 6 months but everyone’s different!! I’ll post a pic I took last week at 23 weeks

I find its older generations that have rude comments like that. My own grandmother makes comments about how I could “stand to lose some weight”, yet she doesn’t like when I do. I lost 24 pounds since I’ve been pregnant and I’ve struggled to gain honestly. My fiancé’s grandmother tells me every time “well that’s just not healthy”. Like what do you want me to do?🙄 I try to avoid them because they just piss me off and I’m not in the mood for it.

I doubt she intended it to be rude but if it bothers you, say something. Don't let it just fester. My own mom has been asking for updates and commenting how I'm much larger than she was but it honestly doesn't bother me because every woman, baby, and pregnancy is different. Do I wish I was just barely showing? Oh yeah. Am I going to let it get to me that I look like I swallowed a basketball? Not until I remember my skinny jeans don't fit even with the extender anymore (I love wearing those in fall darnit...). There are bigger things to focus on than on someone else's opinion. You look gorgeous and the reason you're changing is going to make you forget all about any comments people made when he or she arrives.

I find it rude. I was asked if I was about to pop the other day and I'm 6 months. So no not going to pop yet. 
It took everything in me not to freak out.

Because I’ve had a loss, I’m soaking up every single comment that proves baby is big and growing.
So, it wouldn’t offend me. It sounds like she was just commenting on your baby bump, not your weight or double chin or anything like that lol (I do know a girl who had a stranger tell her that her face was really big and THAT would upset me)
If I were you, I’d just soak it up as a reminder that baby is alive and well.

First of all youe bump looks lovely and certainly not too big. Secondly, there will always be people like her with stupid comments. One of my aunts asked me everytime she saw me "are you sure it's not twins?". Very annoying, but in one ear and out the other!

No just no! You are NOT big for 23 weeks that’s crazy! I am 22 weeks and just a tad smaller than you and people keep saying I’m small. Don’t let anyone call you big that is the rudest thing to say to a pregnant woman.
