Why is it so hard to find child care providers?!

My husband and I have started to do our interviews with in home day care providers. And I feel like we can't agree on anything. He is just so worried about price that I feel like we are passing up the providers I feel comfortable with. But at the same time I feel like I am just being judgemental of the ones he likes and they are actually good. Why is this so hard?

Be picky! I worked at a daycare and some of the workers who I thought were great with the kids at first ended up being absolutely horrible. I’m sure it goes the same with some in home workers as well. Picky is good especially when it comes to your child.

always make sure its someone you like! I am an in home nanny and iv actually had to decline offers because our personalitys dont mix but they just like my hours. Its not only easier emotionally on both parties but the kids will notice too.
