Induction with second baby, how long did it take for you?

My first baby, I was induced at a little before 38 weeks and started about 2-3cm dilated. From the time I was induced until I had it was about 48 hours. 
I’m being induced with my second at 40 weeks and I’m about 4cm dilated. 
Just curious about others who’ve been induced with their second and how long it took? Was it a shorter process?

First time altogether took 40 hours because I was 37 weeks and not dilated at all. Cervadil didn't work and pitocin didn't work even at max dose. Tries cytotec which actually got me to progress so the pitocin could work. Once pitocin was hung the second time, baby came after about 10 hours of active labor.
2nd time I was 39 weeks and 2cm dilated so the cervadil worked and pitocin worked the first time around. Time from the pitocin being started to birth was 4 hours. Everything altogether probably took ~18 hours. Overall it was MUCH easier the 2nd time.

I was induced both times at 38 weeks. First pregnancy I was dilated 2cm and cervix was soft so broke my waters at 10am and had my son at 3:35pm. Second pregnancy I was dilated 0 and cervix not soft so I had to get the ballon thingy followed by pitocin and from 10am he was born at 9:24pm. Good luck and wishing you a healthy labour and baby!
