Do you make efforts to help the less fortunate? If yes how?

If there’s a homeless man outside of the gas station, offering to buy something they need. Even if it’s cigarettes, I really don’t care. We all cope differently. 
Giving small bills to panhandlers. 
Buying an extra meal when I’m out eating to give to the first homeless person I see. 
I do all of these things “under the radar” though. I don’t tell anyone about it because I don’t want praise or even discouragement for “supporting panhandling”. I do it because I would hope someone would do it for me if I were ever in that situation and I have a deep compassion for others.

Not comfortable answering this without doing it anonymously😣... I'm funny about talking about this kind of thing. Luckily no one knows me... So I'll just say we have automatic withdraws that go to a charity. We are currently collecting duffle bags for a charity. And I give money to anyone asking for it out on the street, since we don't see that often where we live.

Lol without even seeing the poll my first thought was “I am the less fortunate”. I’m joking but not really. Life could be worse of course so I try to help whenever I see homeless in front of the stores I’ll buy a gallon of water, snacks, and some food if I have the spare money. I’ve only ever given money once to a man and his daughter cause their story broke my heart. They used it on food and the daughter ate like she hadn’t eaten in days. That’s how I try to help 🤷🏽‍♀️
