Does anyone else's baby hate baths??

Question

My daughter gets 1-2 baths a week (she's 4 weeks old today) and she absolutely hates getting a bath. She screams bloody murder the whole time and it breaks my heart because she gets so upset. 
I make sure the water isn't too hot or too cold, I support her head and back in her baby tub, I obviously make sure soap doesn't get in her eyes. I don't know what else to do to make bath time more comfortable for her. 
I'm a first time mom, does anyone have any helpful tips?

If you bathe your baby in the bathroom sink then I would turn on the hot water in the shower and get it steamy in the bathroom and then bring the baby and in bathe baby in the sink. If you bathe baby in the kitchen sink then I would fill the water halfway up before putting baby in. My 4 week old baby used to scream and cry during her baths, but now she’s completely content when I do the above.￼

I also just read an article about how you really don’t need to give a baby a bath since they don’t get dirty. The woman who wrote it gave her first baths at 8 and 9 weeks for get two kids. You could look it up and see about giving baths less. Good luck!

My son hated them to until I started putting a receiving blanket in the tub. I guess the initial shock of the water scared him.

Mine hated it the first few times until I adjusted the temperature. I'm in Australia, so we're in the first month of spring and it's freezing some days still! I do the temperature 2 degrees hotter than the recommended amount, and that seemed to work for us! Maybe you need to play about with the temperature to see how your baby reacts?

Try looking up on YouTube how to give a swaddle bath. My babe really likes baths and I've only been giving her this kind since that's what they showed me in the hospital.

My babygirl is the same way but now she either gets in with me which she’s so much calmer or bathes in kitchen sink and water is running on her. She hates her bath

My son hated his baths when he was born, he’s 4 weeks old tomorrow, I bath him every other day. He used to scream bloody murder but since I’ve been giving him a bath every other day, he’s gotten used to it and now he just lays there and looks around while I’m washing him. He only starts to cry once I take him out, dry him and put his diaper/clothes on.
