Spotted period

This is my first time using this group, so I hope that somebody can help me! OK I started Oct 5 spotting every lightly then stoped on the 6 of Oct I started spotting again n it stoped on 7 Oct I wake up at 3:30 n went to bathroom n I have blood clots I put a tampon in will I went back to bed n got up again n I had stopped???? Wat is going on. I'm wanting to start on my sec baby after 8 year n this happens wat this mean plz help
