Friendships for Introverts

I am 39 yrs old, soon to be 40 and although I have had some significant friendships throughout my life I am seriously missing those deep connections and sisterhood. People get so busy with their own lives... Work, families, etc., and do not take the time to maintain those connections. At least that’s my experience and I’m certainly guilty of it myself. I see those group of girlfriends that have been close for most, if not all, of their lives and I feel so envious! I so wish I had that. As an introvert it’s not as easy to maintain friendships for a lifetime (we like our space and alone time and some people just don’t get that). But we want friends too! I really could say so much and go on and on but I just really needed to vent and ask for suggestions on how to make friends when you get this old😩 It seems impossible to find a BFF at this point in life... But I would really like to find a good friend or two that I click with. BTW I am TTC which is why I’m on this app. I had a tubal reversal in April 2018 and we’ve been trying every since.
