AF finally came..

So my doctor prescribed me provera because I missed my period last month and it just came today! On Sunday I am suppose to start my birth control.. Its suppose to shrink my ovarian cyst. I'm a little upset because me and my fiancé want a baby sooo bad and I really hate to take the birth control :( anyone else been through this? How long does it take to shrink and was it easy to get pregnant afterwards?
