Help my friend

So my friend recently had a baby like a week ago and since then she has been having pain in her stomach like cramps and I was thinking it would be like her uterus trying to go back to normal size but she is also having problems with a fever and not feeling good at all. The hospital told her she has a respiratory infection but won’t do anything for her on top of a uti and the stomach pain she is miserable. Anyone know what to do to help her? I’m sure she just wants to spend time and hold her baby without all of this pain and a fever of 104
