Did membrane sweep work for you? (First time)

I’m 40’weeks tomorrow. Next appointment at 40.1 and am gonna ask for a membrane sweep. If that doesn’t work we will move forward with induction next week. Wondering how successful it has been for others.

I had a sweep at 41 weeks with my first and contractions started about 12 hrs later. I asked for a sweep with my 2nd at 40 and 41 weeks but I wasn’t dilated at all. Was induced 41+1

I've never had one! I never knew that was a thing until I joined this app. I'm going to ask about it though once I'm around 38 weeks lol
