Ruined announcement

We found out very early (5 weeks) that we're expecting our first baby. We told my parents shortly after and explained to them that we were waiting until the 2nd trimester to announce. My mom guilted and bullied me into telling her dad a couple weeks ago. I reluctantly did. He posted my news on Facebook today, complete with due date. He deleted it after my mom told him to, but not before my whole family saw it. My mom doesn't think he did anything wrong and keeps defending him.

I'm livid and so hurt that he took our announcement from us. I know he did it out of enthusiasm, but it wasn't his news to tell. He took an experience from us that we can't get back. I also blame my mom. We had photos taken last week and were going to send out photo announcements to family next week. No point in doing that now. 😭🤬
