Coffee in early pregnancy?

I usually drink 2 cups a day and have cut down to 1 since I found out I was pregnant. Today I didnt drink any and I had the worst headache all day. My question is.. is it ok to drink a cup a day or should I go cold turkey?

You can have up to 200mg if caffeine per day. I had a cup of coffee or two everyday in both pregnancies.

You can have coffee. 200mg is recommended. I drink more cause I just want more. I drank 3-4 cups a day with my first lol. And now I have maybe 3 if I have the craving for some with bread

It’s recommended 200mg but it’s not the law 😂 it’s not going to hurt you or baby to have a cup or 2 or 3 a day. It’s coffee not meth or alcohol. Drink that coffee

I tried to give it up but my mornings are just better with a cup of coffee. I barely ever finish my cup anyway I think it’s more of a mental thing than a physical need for me. But I finally broke down and decided it’s not going to hurt and it makes me happy.

You can have one cup of coffee a day. Limit the caffine to 200mg. Also be aware that the medicines you take might also have a slight caffine content in it. So watch out.

My doctor suggested it when I was getting head aches. I did cold turkey and after a month I started getting head aches and messaged my doctor on the portal and she said drink coffee but max 200mg of caffine a day.
