Manager acting out of line over pregnancy?

So I went to work and told a coworker I had exciting baby news. My doctor is going to induce me December 9th (a week early) if I dont go before then. She asked why and I said because I am 1 CM dialated and fully effaced. (I'm 29 weeks today) when the assistant manager came in they both ran to the back and were acting weird. The assistant came out and told me she didn't feel comfortable with me being at work and wanted to send me home. Then she said "who told you, you were 100% effaced? Did your doctor tell you that? I said I was in labor and delivery last weekend and that is who told me, and then I saw my doctor Wednesday. She then went on about how she was flabbergasted that I was at work and not on bedrest. Then she said she takes it really personal because her son was born early and almost died. She said that she was on bedrest and had a catheter in ect. Then she said it was her ass if I went into labor at work. I told her I was fine and dilated and effaced early with my daughter as well who was born full term. Also she was dilated to a 6 with her preemie son do I feel it is two completely different situations. I felt really uncomfortable and it bothered me all weekend. This morning I talked to my store manager and she thought the other manager was out of line and she was going to make a report. This is not the first incident I have had with this manager. What are your opinions?
