Do you take Unisom?

Having trouble sleeping and wondering how many mamas out there take Unisom to sleep? My doctor said it was safe to take but just curious. If so how often do you take it?!

Yes I take since 6 weeks in night for my morning sickness... I have 21 weeks

I took it for nausea with b6 in the beginning and my doctor said I could keep taking it for sleep if I needed to but haven’t needed to. But I was told to specifically get the one with a certain ingredient. Not sure how important that is

Yes! My doctor had me start taking at night and b6 during the day for morning sickness... I am still taking the unisom . This is my third pregnancy and I honestly never slept at night starting in my second trimester with either of my two kids. So I am enjoying being able to sleep at night this pregnancy... I alternate between taking 1/2 a pill or a whole pill some nights I don’t take it at all. I also like it bc it doesn’t knock me out to where I sleep through things. If one of my kids gets up in the night I hear them right away and get up fine do what I need to do but when I lay back down I am able to fall right back asleep, I am not laying there forever trying to sleep. I also get chronic migraines and stress and lack of sleep have always been a huge trigger. So I also am finding that this pregnancy I have had far less severe migraines then past pregnancies. I really think it’s because I am getting sleep at night and also bc when I feel a bad one coming on at night I make sure to take a whole pill and just go to bed as early as I can.

21 weeks today I have been taking b6 and unisom every night since like 6 weeks going to try to wean off at 24 weeks because I’m hoping that I just don’t need it anymore for my nausea I’ve been trying to wean off every couple weeks but my nausea is still here
