Chlamydia treatment question??

Okay so I’m 17 and I just got a prescription yesterday for azithromycin, I was given a one dose prescription with two pills. The doctor said to wait two weeks till I am fully clean. I took the pills yesterday and felt sick as hell and the diarrhea was crazy, I read that people seen results in days but I’m still having burning when I pee , has anybody taken this medicine and can give me some reinsurance?
