How did you get your baby to stop swaddling?

How old and how did you do it? At this rate mine will be needing swaddled to sleep til he’s 18 lol

We stopped swaddling at 2 weeks and stopped using sleep sacks at 3. Shed wake herself up with the startle reflex but I'd settle her back down and after a week or so it no longer bothered her.

I swaddled until almost 6 months... she was in the bassinet beside be so I felt ok with it... I started just pinning 1 arm and then leaving both out. She adjust pretty quickly

So my daughter hates being swaddled as in arms tucked but we did have  the swaddle that Velcro’s and she always had that around her belly with her arms out. I slowly started the loosen it every night until it was basically useless. 
That obviously isn’t a good idea with the Muslin swaddle but just wanted to share what we did.
