School assessments

So I've been in contact with my daughter's school about her behaviour/attention in the classroom. They are doing an assessment that involves watching her in the classroom for 30 minutes looking at if she is paying full attention or only some. And if she is figiting along with some others. And then also another assessment which her teacher had never heard of. I just wondered if anyone knows what this is called or what it is for as her teacher didn't explain too much to me. Thanks
