Any samsung users?

Question

I am an avid iPhone girl. I have had every iPhone that has come out however I recently changed to a Samsung galaxy s10. 
I honestly am so gutted I'm now stuck with it for two years. The camera quality is awful and the "selfie" camera", the only way I am able to get a picture with my daughter these days is horrible! Really pixelated and makes you look soft and like a cartoon!
Is this a fault with my phone or are all Samsung's like this because I can't cope! 
My income is gained through photography which I do using my iPhone and a DSLR camera. This phone will not be suitable at all due to the severe lack of quality.
Is it a normal thing???

I've got a samsung s9, I had an iPhone before this and absolutely hated it. I love my samsung and the camera is amazing so I would definitely take it to a phone shop and get it checked

There is a setting on the camera called "beauty" or something like that, and when I had a Samsung it was turned on at the start,, and it made you look soft etc cause its meant to smooth out any imperfections etc, try looking around for it maybe it's turned up to the fullest? I've always found Samsung cameras amazing hun you just need to play with the settings a little bit I think. I always had samsungs(currently huawei but will be going back to Samsung when my contract run out) and never had any issues with camera.

I have done this in the past and basically I am an iPhone girl too. I’d rather have an old iPhone than a new anything else. They’re just better.
