How many people?

Hi, I would like to take both my mom and partner to my anomaly scan this week, does anyone know if it's allowed to take two people in? This is west Midlands. Thanks

When I had mine I had my husband and my mother in law . I was in with my husband whilst they did the measurements etc first and then they let my mother in law in .

I'm in Sussex and your allowed maximum 2 people in with you. So far it's just been me and my husband but my mum is coming to my growth scan next week.

Always check, I'm only allowed my partner in my hospital in south Wales, although another family member can pop in at the end to see baby briefly after the actual appointment is over x

I'd ring and ask. I was under Treliske in Cornwall for my first couple of scans and allowed 2 people but under Shrewsbury hospital for my last few and was only allowed 1 x

I'm from the midlands too and they let both my mum and my partner at the time go in! :)

I went with my mum and partner and the sonographer said its one person in the room whilst they are doing he checks but she was very nice and let my mum come in at the end and she showed her the baby for a few minutes. 😊 it probably depends on who's doing your scan!

I say ring the scan department to find out their policy. 
The hospital i attend in norfolk will allow only myself and my partner in the room until the scan is completed then family are invited in to view the images on the screen once they are happy the scan went well.

Where as the hospital where my sister is attending for scans allows up to 5 people in the room (inc herself) throughout the whole scan so its down to individual hospitals and there policies.
