How to make house smell good?

I love to burn candles in my house.. but with an infant and toddler who stay sick I can’t... is there any thing I can burn or use to make my house smell good that won’t bother my kids?

Boil some water with spices in it or just plain vanilla. You could also make a room spray with essential oils and alcohol
