Thinking about getting a taser

So I’ve been wanting to get a taser for a while as extra protection. I have looked up to see if I needed a permit in the state I reside in and I don’t need one. It says as long as it’s used in a legal way(of course it’s only for to zap and run away) I wouldn’t use it to joke around cause sending unnecessary electricity through your body for no reason is risky and dangerous. It’ll be put in a secure spot when I’m at home and when I’m out especially at night.

I’ve also wanted to take some self defense classes to better defend myself. Right now they’re expensive so I’m saving up to take the classes.
