Crohn’s moms?

Question

Any mamas out there have Crohn’s disease?? 
I’m currently in remission, and me and my husband want another baby we’ve been trying may/June had a chemical in July. Really hoping this is my month. Just wanna hear your story and how it was for you? And I’ve been on remicade for the past year.

My mother had Crohn’s disease. Unfortunately, she passed away from complications of Crohn’s almost 7 years ago. She was diagnosed when she was really young, before all the new biologic drugs were an option, so she had surgery as a child and her Crohn’s, when it came back later in life, was steroid-dependent. BUT she had two successful pregnancies with me and my sister while in remission!

I do. I was on Imuran and Prednisone for a while and the side effects were worse than the flare ups so I don’t take anything. My husband and I started trying and were pregnant in 3 months. As soon as I got pregnant I had no flare ups up until a year after I delivered (which was 2 weeks ago).
