Anyone else?

Question

Does anyone else have the issues of struggling to make it week by week? I am beyond the word stressed out over this! My husband and I both work but it just isn't enough and we are constantly broke..we don't go anywhere we don't do anything,we can't cut anything else out we have done everything we know to do. Does anyone know of anything where we may could make some extra $? Not to where you have to put in money to make it just anything would help,I have tried to find another job but no one will hire me right now I just keep getting the run a round on excuses. I have a 7 year old and one due in January..my 7 year olds father does not help any at all I'm going through dhr and it's been a year and nothing yet..and then I have a $1,600 deductible to pay by December and I just don't have it and won't. I'm ready to give up on everything. And that usually isn't me I don't give up but this whole year has just been so bad and I have no idea what to do now. 😕 any help or anything would be greatly appreciated! We also are $100 over the food stamp limit so we can't get those or Medicaid..

I have no advice to make more money, but I do have advice on how to live within your means. If you don't know him, please look up Dave Ramsey and you will find a bunch of helpful information. All in all, if you don't do anything or go anywhere it's probably your house and car(s) that are weighing you down and you need to try to figure out a new plan. Maybe one of you could take the bus for a while or ride your bike to work if it's in a close distance. Or get cheaper cars.. I'm not sure your complete situation but it sounds to me that you're in over your heads because you both work... And I know it's hard to make it out here especially depending on how much you two make a year

Another idea for your husband (or you) is to find a landscaping company or a couple of guys who cut grass on the side and help them.  Most places like that will pay under the table.  Take a Saturday and just cut grass,  weedwack,  etc. Granted,  it's getting towards the end of the season but another weekend or two adds up.  Same companies also shovel snow.

I have a good job and still took a second job for about a year to help pay some bills I never should have had.  I bartended 1 to 2 days/wk just for extra cash and believe me,  even just 8 hours on a Sunday, put us in a better place in only a year.  Granted,  I don't have kids yet to juggle that schedule but 12-8 on my regular day off was worth it.

Yup.. and people act like we have it so easy at our day and age. I mean I am only 22 (not sure how old you are) and have struggled everyday since I moved out. It is sad that you work fulltime and dont party or waste money and you STILL struggle to put food on the table or pay your rent. I havent touched alcohol in over a year.. I haven't even enjoyed a nice dinner out with my fiancee since our first date and we struggle every month to get our bills paid. All I can say is you are doing everything you can. Keep your chin up.. be thankful when a bill is paid and your home is covered. When you sit down and enjoy your meal at night be thankful you put that food there. I hope it levels out soon for you and I both! It is hard to stay positive some days and its been uber depressing expecting a baby and barely being able to make ends meet. The point is, we are .. even if its just barely. Count your blessings is what people always tell me.. hope everything gets better ❤

Get a resume ready and start going thru staffing agencies.   Today it is really about who you know to get you that great job.   Look to see if there are things you can sell on Craigslist to help pay that deductible.  Also talk with your insurance or the hospital to see about a payment plan.  I know mine will work with me on it.  See about possibly watching children on your days off.  Odd and end jobs if your husband is a handyman and advertise on Facebook resale groups in your area.   Cut out bills you don't need.   Do you need cell phones will 10gb of data?  Or can you switch to prepaid?   Do you really need cable and Internet?  Or can you go without?  Donate plasma sometimes ranges to about 50-150 a month depending on how many times one can donate.   You can't donate since your pregnant but your husband could.
