Anyone still working past 30 weeks?

Lol my family is tripping out because I'm still working and plan to until I go into labor. I mean, what else am I going to do? Sit at the house? I've never been good at being unemployed and I happen to love my job as a pawnbroker. It's just funny to me that everyone is telling me to stay at home.

I have no option but to keep working. I can put in for a personal leave of absence but anytime I'm out before the baby is born will be unpaid and we simply can't live without me working, even with my husband working 7 days a week, 10-11 hours a day most weeks. If you've got the energy to keep going I say go for it! It's better to stay active anyways, the only reason I wish I could stop working is because I'm anemic and I am so exhausted its painful, no matter how much sleep I get and my job is on my feet go go go all day long.

35wks and still working full time as an RN at a busy rehab facility! Its hard being on my feet all evening but the longer I keep working the more time I get to spend off with my baby girl! If you can keep working safely go for it!!

I'm 34 weeks and still working 40 hours a week with 8 hour days on my feet! I don't plan on stopping until I have to! It's getting harder, but it forces me to stay active. I'm hoping to make it full time up to 38 weeks then drop down to part time if I need to. 😊

I'm 33 weeks and still working. I wanted to work up until I gave birth but my wife didn't like that idea. We compromised and I will quit my job at 38 weeks.

Yep! 35 weeks and still working. Planning on working until at least 38 weeks (starting to get painful) but want to go until my due date if possible!

30 weeks right now and I'm working 11 hour shifts standing / walking and 6 days a week! As long as your back and knees are okay I say keep it up! It's better to be active Closer to you due date anyways

I plan on working as long as I can. I'm 30.3 weeks today, and so far my main complaint is that I'm tired. I work at an elementary school and I'm always running around, but it's only part time. We'll see....
