Paid maternity leave
So I work at a school in CT. I’m entitled to 6 weeks paid maternity leave (8 if it’s a c-section) and after that under FMLA I can get 12 weeks unpaid leave for child bonding. Now I would like to extend my paid leave haha-the only way I can do that is with a Dr. Note stating I have some medical reason. Is there anyone in a similar situation that was able to extend their paid leave using a note or anything else?
