Bleeding after OB check up?

I am 38 weeks pregnant, just had a check up. I’m 1cm dilated and 70% effaced. I just got home and noticed I’m bleeding now. Should I be worried, is this normal?? Waiting to hear back from my doctor but I’m so nervous.

Had the exact thing happen to me! Freaked me the heck out! But the cervix is so sensitive this far along so it’s easily irritated by the check up. I called L and D and they said if I’m having to change pads or if it continued for more than an hour then let them know. It stopped quickly thankfully.

It’s normal. Your cervix was disrupted. As long as baby is moving I wouldn’t be worried. If the bleeding gets heavy I would definitely go in.

I’m 40weeks I’ve had 4 sweeps, the bleeding is normal as long as it’s not filling a liner in an hour or continuing for over 48 hours.
