Do you use your rocking chair/glider?

I am trying to sort out what is a necessity vs what i won't actually use. I feel like I need everything, but I know that there are things I will get (that I THINK I need) but not actually use. I am not sure if a glider is one of those things worth getting or just a waste of money and space. Do you use it?

It's like magic for getting a baby to fall asleep lol I didn't have one with my first but I did use one a couple times and swore that the next baby I was getting one Lol

We nursed in ours every night. It was our place to have our time without disturbing anyone else

My rocker glider has saved my life. I didn't have one to use until my little one was a month old due to being in the middle of a move and house remodel. Before that I would be up walking the hall for a hour at a time to to calm him. The rocker puts him right to sleep, and is much more comfortable to nurse in.

We use the recliner in the living room :) I have 4 kids and this is number 5. We are all about multi-purpose items!

I didn't have one with my other kids, but found one at a yard sell with ottoman for 15$ and I can already tell how nice it will be! I sleep on it already because with heartburn and stuff it works magic to sit up! So I didn't have it as a need at all, but now that I have one- I will swear by it! Try Craigslist or things like that or find a more in expensive one if you are on the fence though.

We got two from friends so one is in our living room and one is in his room

I had a recliner chair with my first, and we literally slept in it together, I don't have a recliner and will be purchasing a new one before this baby is born.. I'm my eyes they are a necessity. It's the little things, lots of shoes, I prefer sleepers compared to outfits for the first free months for comfort, teddy bears...etc...
