You shouldn’t drink it before you have the baby. It has stuff in it you are not supposed to have when pregnant. I believe it even says not to drink it while pregnant on the box. Plus it doesn’t work for everyone. Like someone else mentioned your placenta has to detach to signal your body to produce milk. It is normal for it to take a few days for it to come in after the baby is born.

Milk doesn’t come in until the placenta is no longer there. So I’d assume you can drink it after. I don’t know if it’s an issue before

The thing that makes milk come in is the hormone drop that occurs in the 3-4 days after your placenta delivers. The colostrum you make in the beginning is generally enough for baby’s teeny tiny stomach.  You may not leak or notice any at all until baby’s born but that is totally normal and fine.

Definitely don’t drink it before baby is born and not even after, your body will do what it is supposed to and if for some reason you have a supply problem that’s when u want to drink it.
