I stopped, glanced over at him in the back parking lot, said hey look there’s the cop we saw at the gas station to my husband and then I turned and got on the highway. He followed me on and pulled me over saying I ran the stop sign but I KNOW I didn’t

YUP! 
So it was Super Bowl Sunday and I was visiting my then boyfriend in Fallon, NV and I was stationed in California. It was like a 5 hour drive. I was driving back to California and when I was in a small town right outside of Fallon I noticed a cop so I was super aware of my speed and never went above the speed limit. I pulled into a gas station for snacks and as soon as I pulled out of there I had the cop pulling me over. I pulled over and he tried telling me I had been speeding. Which was impossible as I didn’t have enough time to even speed before getting pulled over. He said he wrote me a ticket for something lesser so it wasn’t points on my license but still.
I could of fought it but wasn’t worth the gas to drive back and fight it

Kinda. My dad moved my car to get to his and parked facing the wrong way and I got ticketed for it. He paid it tho.
My husband was rear ended which pushed his car into the car in front of him, and he was ticketed for reckless driving. So stupid

Yes. Literally same thing happened to me. I was driving through a neighborhood behind my college to get to class and I saw a cop just sitting at a stop sign at a 3 way stop. So seeing him I made sure I did a complete stop, looked every way twice, signalled, then made my turn. Well he still ended up pulling me over and giving me a ticket for "not stopping". I wanted to dispute it but 1. I had no proof and 2. It was really close to finals and if they gave me a court date that I had an exam on I would've been just as screwed. So I paid the ticket, did the dumb online traffic school, and $180 later was just done with it.

I had something similar happen. I disputed it in court a year later and only paid $25. Worth a shot!
