Fertility clinic?

So this is the first month we are starting to try. I am 37, and just wondering how many months of not getting pregnant until any of you considered going to fertility clinic? I know it’s still early for me, I just like to think ahead!

From my understanding, this is the recommendation for a timeline:
Under age 35- fertility treatments recommend after one year of ttc
35 and older- fertility treatments recommended after 6 months of ttc

I just turned 37. Started trying in July at 36. I had a naturopath appointment last month for unrelated issues and mentioned I was ttc.  She went ahead and ordered full blood work on me. Turned out my thyroid came back at a 5 and needs to be below 2.5 for successful pregnancy, so she put me on thyroid meds.  So glad I didn't wait 6 months before finding this out.  So I would recommend going to your regular doctor for full blood work now just to make sure everything looks good!

We started ttc when I was 32.  My ob referred me to the fertility clinic after 6 months of no success.

I’m 32 and talked to my pcp at 8 months. Gyno would have made me wait a year.
If I was you, being 37, if in a few months nothing happens talk to your pcp. Don’t hesitate. 
Use preseed if you need lube, buy couples one a day prenatal/preconception vitamins, and opks.

Thank you for your input everyone! It’s been 3 months with no luck now. If this month doesn’t work out, I am going to get referred to a fertility clinic.
