First infertility dr appointment is....
My husband and I have been trying to conceive since April 2017. We had a chemical in August 2018 and that was the only time we have seen a positive on any tests. After months of waiting for our appointment with an infertility dr, it’s finally tomorrow morning. I believe the first appointment is mostly going over paperwork and details and hopefully some testing. We don’t know what to expect for the long haul. Im nervous, worried and hopeful. Maybe he will give me meds like clomid or famera? My gut tells me that I just don’t have enough hormones or that my ovaries go through the motion of ovulation but maybe don’t release the egg? Anyone actually have this happen to them? If so, what was your course of treatment?
What sort of questions should I ask? What should I take with me to our appointment?
If anyone has gone through this experience, what should we expect this infertility journey, with a dr, to be like?
We are both excited to finally start learning about that the problem is and hopefully how to fix it so we have have our little one.
Prayers, thoughts and advice are appreciated!
