Metformin?

I got my prescription for Metformin today. I was wondering if any of you have taken it and ended up having a successful pregnancy? I'm so thrilled to begin trying for a baby with my husband. Any tips or testimonies?? Thanks in advance (:

I went to my RE for the first time in late Jan. After chatting a bit he suspected I had PCOS. Ran some tests and did an ultrasound and a week later he confirmed his suspicions and started me on metformin. He told me to give him 2 full cycles on the metformin and if I wasn't pregnant by the start of the 3rd, he would start me on Femara. Long story short, I called him at the end of my 2nd cycle to tell him I was expecting and I am now 31 weeks pregnant today!!!!

My husband and I tried for a year with no luck then I started Metformin in August and just found out I'm 4 weeks pregnant!

I started Met at the end of July and got my BFP at the end of August so very first month! I will warn you tho, you have to cut out all carbs and added sugars when you first start taking it. Otherwise it will seriously mess up your stomach. I went completely carb free the first week and slowly reintroduced carbs and sugar so I never had the awful side effects. Good luck!

Been on it for 2 months, I'm now ovulating but no pregnancy yet :(

I've been in it for a week,  but do far it's caused stomach trouble and numbness/pain in my calf 😕. I hope is worth the trouble.

I am on my second cycle using it now. Just had a peak fertility result using clearblue after having negatives previously. Baby dust to you x
